about
For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to art, design, and problem-solving. As a kid, I was the one coordinating bedding from the JCPenney catalog, drawing to-scale blueprints to rearrange my bedroom furniture, and going all-out on school projects. That love of creating beautiful, functional spaces—whether on paper or in a room—has shaped everything I do.
I founded ESKAYPEA (es-kay-pea) in 2021 to bring that same thoughtful approach to custom stationery and interior design. With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and years of painting and illustrating, I help clients tell their stories through color, pattern, and design that feels distinctly theirs.
Hi! I’m Sarah
My Approach
I believe great design starts with listening. Whether I'm creating a wedding suite or designing a commercial space, I take time to understand your story, your vision, and how you want to celebrate or inhabit your space. From there, I guide you toward clarity—especially when you're feeling overwhelmed by all the options.
Every project is a puzzle: How do we make this beautiful and functional? How do we honor tradition while adding unexpected, personal touches? I love thinking outside the box—incorporating my own paintings, illustrations, and hand-drawn typography to create truly one-of-a-kind invitations. I also believe in knowing the traditional etiquette rules so we can intentionally decide which ones to follow and which ones don't serve your vision. The result is cohesive, timeless design that reflects who you are—not only what's trending.
Working Together
I work best with clients who trust my expertise and provide the context I need to bring their vision to life. That collaboration—built on clear communication, mutual respect, and honoring timelines—allows me to lean fully into the creative process and deliver work we're both proud of.
Your wedding day is one of the largest celebrations of your life, and every detail matters. From save-the-dates to invitations to day-of pieces, I create cohesive, beautiful introductions to that celebration. The same care applies to interior spaces—whether it's a commercial project or a consultation, I'm here to help you create environments that work as well as they look.
If you appreciate thoughtful design, love a pop of color, and want stationery or interiors that tell your unique story, I'd love to work with you.
